Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your kidney cancer is newly diagnosed, or it grew during surveillance, or it came back after another local treatment.
  • The main tumor is larger than 3 cm (or it is a recurrent tumor after prior local treatment).
  • A specialist believes surgery is not possible for you medically, or you choose not to have surgery.
  • Your overall health function is fairly good (ECOG 0–2).
  • You can give informed consent and understand English (or use a translator).
