Who can take part
- Be at least 18 years old and having a planned (not emergency) percutaneous kidney stone procedure.
- Your procedure must be scheduled Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
- You must be able to understand the study and repeat back consent instructions.
- You must be able to sign consent and speak English.
- If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test.
- You must not have a local infection or a local anesthetic allergy.
