Who can take part

  • You arrived at the hospital within 6 hours of your injury
  • You are 18 years old or older (and 89 or younger)
  • Your injury is a traumatic brain injury with altered consciousness or loss of consciousness (with or without head CT changes)
  • You are not considered to have a non-survivable brain injury
  • You are not brain dead on arrival and you can consent (study requires English)
