Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have liver cirrhosis caused by alcohol, fatty liver disease, hepatitis B or C, or genetic hemochromatosis
  • You have a liver health score (Child Pugh A or B) that is mild to moderate
  • You have at least a 3% yearly risk of getting liver cancer, or you have been treated for liver cancer before and are now back on regular ultrasound checks
  • You do not have any metal implants or severe kidney problems, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are not a prisoner and have not had a liver transplant
