Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for arthroscopic rotator cuff repair for an injured shoulder
  • Your tear is either new and traumatic or older and painful despite non-surgery treatment
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You agree to join the study, sign consent, and follow all study instructions
  • You do NOT have pregnancy at the time of the pre-surgery check
  • You do NOT have severe shoulder arthritis, major lymphedema, or cold intolerance/conditions
