Who can take part
- You must be an adult (18 years or older).
- You have confirmed head and neck squamous cell cancer that is “locally advanced” and is HPV-negative.
- You have been offered “radical” treatment (surgery and/or chemo-radiation, plus any follow-up treatments).
- Your recent blood counts should be adequate (neutrophils, platelets, and hemoglobin in acceptable ranges).
- You must be able to have MRI scans (no pacemaker/unsafe metal/major claustrophobia).
