Who can take part

  • You must be between 16 and 70 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be over 28
  • Your obesity should not be caused by another medical condition (like Cushing syndrome or hormone problems)
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You should not have serious heart, liver, kidney, or other major organ problems
  • Your blood pressure should be below 180/110 and you should not have malignant (dangerous) hypertension
