- You have an incomplete spinal cord injury in your neck (cervical area) that is rated AIS C, D, or E (meaning you still have some movement or feeling below the injury).
- You are able to understand and follow instructions (based on a memory and thinking test).
- You do not have any traumatic injury (like a fracture or severe wound) to your shoulders, arms, or hands.
- You do not have other conditions affecting your brain, spinal cord, or nerves (such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, or nerve damage).
- You do not have a balance disorder or inner ear problem (like vertigo).
