Who can take part

  • You have high-risk stage III colon adenocarcinoma (pT4N1 or any T with N2).
  • Your colon tumor was fully removed with surgery (R0 resection) within 60 days.
  • No distant spread (no metastasis) and no need for radiation because of middle/lower rectal cancer.
  • You are able to take chemotherapy: blood counts and liver/kidney tests are high enough.
  • You can sign consent, and your health allows an estimated 5-year life expectancy or more.

Blood test guided chemo after colon cancer surgery

This study tests whether giving additional (adjuvant) chemotherapy based on a special blood test—circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA)—can lower the risk of colon cancer coming back. Chemo after surgery for certain stage III colon cancer

This trial studies whether adding chemotherapy after surgery helps people with colon cancer that was diagnosed before surgery as stage III and later found to be without certain high-risk features. It may help lower the chance the cancer comes back, but you must meet specific surgery and health criteria.
