Register people with certain neuroblastic tumors in an international study

NeuroblastomaGanglioneuroblastomaGanglioneuroma

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This study creates an international registry linked to a virtual biobank, so researchers can collect and share information and biological samples for patients with specific peripheral neuroblastic tumors. It may help future research and care planning by improving what scientists know about these conditions.

Who can take part

  • You have a peripheral neuroblastic tumor called ganglioneuroma, ganglioneuroblastoma, or neuroblastoma
  • You are being enrolled either at initial diagnosis or after relapse/progression (if not already registered)
  • You (or your parent/legal guardian) can sign an informed consent form
  • If you are a child/teen/young adult, you can give assent (agree to take part) with your family/guardian

NCT03126916Recruiting· Phase 3
Testing added therapy for high-risk neuroblastoma in children

This Phase 3 study tests whether adding either a targeted drug (lorlatinib) or a radioactive treatment (131I-MIBG) to intensive chemotherapy improves outcomes for children with high-risk neuroblastoma. It may help by aiming at tumor cells more directly alongside standard treatment.

NCT01587300Recruiting
Study of high-risk neuroblastoma biology using tumor and blood samples

This study looks at how high-risk neuroblastoma grows and behaves by collecting samples from your child and checking disease markers. It may help researchers understand what biology is driving the cancer and guide future treatments.

Los Angeles, California
NCT05918432Not yet recruiting
Study of neuroblastoma patients’ experience over time

This study looks at patterns in what adults with neuroblastoma experience during treatment and follow-up visits. It may help researchers understand what patients go through so care and support can improve.

San Francisco, California
NCT00588068Recruiting
Study genes in neuroblastic tumors and compare with outcomes

This study looks at the tumor’s molecular (genetic) features in people with neuroblastic tumors to see how those features relate to clinical outcomes. If you are treated with naxitamab as part of standard care, you may be eligible for the tumor/biomarker (test results) portion of the research.

NCT06172296Recruiting· Phase 3
Dinutuximab plus transplant for high-risk neuroblastoma

This trial tests adding a targeted drug called dinutuximab to standard chemotherapy, surgery, and a stem cell transplant for children and young adults with a new diagnosis of high-risk neuroblastoma. The goal is to see if this combination helps more patients stay in remission.

Birmingham, Alabama
NCT02559778Recruiting· Phase 2
Precision treatment trial for children with advanced neuroblastoma

This Phase 2 trial studies a targeted treatment approach for children and young adults with advanced neuroblastoma (a childhood cancer). It may help by using lab-tested cancer features to guide therapy after initial treatment and transplant.
