Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older.
  • You have advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) that has spread or cannot be cured with standard treatments.
  • Your cirrhosis must be Child-Pugh class B7 (a staging system for liver function).
  • You have had 1 or 2 prior “whole-body” cancer medicine treatments (no more than 2).
  • Your recent lab tests must meet thresholds (low enough bilirubin, liver enzymes not too high, and enough blood counts and kidney function).
  • You can get trial visits and blood tests as scheduled, and you agree to sign informed consent.
  • You have not had certain treatments too recently (no cancer medicine in the last 4 weeks, and no local procedures/surgery/radiation in the last 4 weeks).
