Who can take part

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Be scheduled for an EBUS bronchoscopy with moderate conscious sedation
  • Do not have had prior nasal surgery
  • Your oxygen level must be at least 90% on room air before the procedure
  • You must not be pregnant
  • No known facial fractures or recent facial injuries
  • If you take blood thinners, they must be able to be stopped before the procedure
