This Phase 1 study tests an insulin-based eye treatment to see if it’s safe and potentially helpful for people with glaucoma-related optic nerve damage. If you may be eligible, you’ll have a close eye exam and repeated vision testing, mainly focused on one study eye.

Who can take part
- You can understand the study and sign informed consent (or have a legally authorized representative).
- You have optic nerve damage from glaucoma, NAION, or optic disc drusen.
- Only one eye would be used as the study eye (usually the one with worse vision or visual field).
- You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding.
- You do not have other major eye problems causing severe vision loss (like severe uveitis, serious cornea problems, or certain retina/macular diseases).
- You do not have diabetes or known glucose intolerance (type 1 or type 2).
- You can do reliable visual field testing and return for required visits and eye tests.
