Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- You have had nerve symptoms (sensory and/or movement-related) for more than 2 months
- Your symptoms have been getting worse over time (progressive course)
- You do not have certain body conditions that can cause nerve problems (such as diabetes, kidney or liver disease, thyroid problems, or vitamin B12 deficiency)
- Your neuropathy is not likely caused by a family inherited nerve disorder or by an infection (HBV, HCV, HIV, or leprosy)
- Your neuropathy is not likely due to toxins or medicines (like chemotherapy or certain antibiotics)
