Who can take part

  • You are a woman seen in the emergency department for a urinary problem
  • You are 14 years old or older
  • Your urine test shows nitrite-positive results, and your infection seems limited to the bladder (uncomplicated)
  • You are not pregnant
  • You have no signs of kidney infection or severe infection (sepsis)
  • You can do a phone follow-up at 3, 7, and 30 days
