- Be 18 years or older
- Have a collarbone (clavicle) injury on one side, treated with this specific 2.7 plate or hook plate
- Get the surgery within 21 days of the injury
- Be able to come back for follow-up visits after surgery
- Not have stable collarbone fractures
- Not have certain infections, major nerve/blood vessel injury, or severe/unstable overall health issues
