Who can take part
- Be 13 to 24 years old
- Have restrictive-type anorexia nervosa and be currently hospitalized for nutritional support (refeeding)
- Your urine output during refeeding should be either very high or very low (they will measure this)
- Not have an active 5150 hold (involuntary psychiatric hold)
- Not be taking antidepressants, antipsychotics, or seizure-mood medications (anticonvulsants)
- Not be pregnant, and you must not use NG or G-tube tube feeding after day 2 of hospitalization
