Who can take part
- Be 18 to 75 years old
- Have confirmed epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer (not low-grade or mucinous)
- Have cancer in the liver/upper-abdomen lymph nodes seen on scans, and surgeons must believe it can be fully removed
- If this is a first treatment situation, you can have had 1 to 3 rounds of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (if it has not progressed)
- Be “platinum sensitive” if the cancer has come back (platinum-free time of 6 months or more)
- Be well enough for surgery and chemo: good blood counts and organ function, and physically able to do daily activities (ECOG 0–2)
