Who can take part

  • Your colon cancer has been confirmed under the microscope as colon adenocarcinoma (not signet ring type that makes up most of the tumor).
  • You do not have cancer spread outside the belly (like in liver, lungs, or distant lymph nodes).
  • You have peritoneal (belly lining) metastases of limited size, with PCI 20 or less, confirmed during surgery.
  • Surgeons can remove all visible tumor in the belly (complete cytoreduction, CCS-0), confirmed during surgery.
  • You are an adult (over 18) and can tolerate major surgery: ASA 1–3 and ECOG 0–1, with acceptable heart/lung/kidney/liver blood test status.
  • You must be able to have standard chemo around the surgery and you will give written consent.
