  • Be between 25 and 65 years old
  • Have a body mass index (BMI) between 30 and 40
  • Have fatty liver disease (NAFLD)
  • Have type 2 diabetes treated with diabetes medicines and your HbA1c is between 7% and 10%
  • Have kidney function tests showing eGFR 45 or higher (and no serious urine protein)
