Who can take part

  • You’re age 22 to 65 and can sign consent in writing
  • You’ve smoked for at least 1 year, and you average 5+ cigarettes per day recently
  • You have schizophrenia-spectrum disorder, and your screening scores are high enough to join
  • You must be under care of a licensed doctor or mental health clinician
  • You must allow study staff to contact your current/past providers and name 2 reliable contacts nearby
  • You may not have had smoking-quit treatment, a clinical trial, or nicotine replacement in the last 4 weeks
