Who can take part

  • Your baby was born very early: under 35 weeks of pregnancy at birth
  • A parent or legal representative can sign consent after being told what the study is about
  • The baby must be medically stable at the time of the measurements (it will be rechecked)
  • There must be no skin injury, bruising, or unusual skin sensitivity on the baby’s abdomen
  • There should be no abdominal issues or equipment that blocks proper sensor placement (like certain patches or lines)
