Testing a risk assessment to predict prostate cancer on biopsy

Who can take part

  • Be having a prostate biopsy to look for prostate cancer (not for follow-up of known cancer)
  • Be between 40 and 69 years old
  • Your PSA blood test must be between 2.5 and 10 ng/mL
  • Your ethnicity must match one of these groups: Caucasian, African American, East Asian, or Latino (mixed ethnicity may not qualify)
  • You must not have had a past diagnosis of prostate cancer
