Who can take part

  • You are a man age 35 to 74
  • You have not been diagnosed with prostate cancer before
  • You can live independently for at least 10 more years (based on your health)
  • You fit one of these risk groups: (A) a known prostate-cancer–related gene change, (B) strong family history with a negative gene test, or (C) you are Black American or Black Caribbean with African ancestry on both sides
  • You can safely have a prostate MRI
  • You can receive MRI contrast dye (the contrast liquid used for the scan)
