Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in the arms or legs)
  • Your nerve pain has stayed about the same for at least 1 month
  • You need pain medicine more than once each week to manage the pain
  • Your pain is fairly intense, with a score of at least 30 out of 100 on a pain scale
  • You are not pregnant and are not likely to become pregnant during the study
  • You do not have epilepsy, brain/metal implantation risk, or brain electrodes placed
