3D MRI study of facial nerves in parotid tumors

Who can take part

  • You have a parotid tumor (salivary gland tumor) that was found on other scans like ultrasound or CT
  • You may or may not have had a biopsy (fine needle aspiration) result—either is okay
  • You can safely have MRI, meaning no metal implants or other reasons MRI is unsafe for you
  • You can receive MRI contrast if needed (not severe kidney problems or a history of severe contrast allergy)
  • You are able to lie still and cooperate during the MRI scan and complete it
  • You can understand the study and sign informed consent
