Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older and be planning definitive (main) or postoperative (after surgery) high-dose radiation that overlaps a previously treated organ at risk
  • Have signed consent, prior radiation dose information available, and recent baseline scans (CT, PET/CT, or MRI) within 6 weeks of starting
  • Have a confirmed solid cancer diagnosis (with pathology/cytology records) and a treatment team decision that re-irradiation is recommended for your specific target area
  • Be able to do required questionnaires, and have most recent cancer treatment side effects improved to mild or moderate (grade 1–2)
  • Meet basic health/lab and safety limits (including blood counts and liver/kidney tests) and have an expected life span of at least 6 months
  • If you can become pregnant: have a negative pregnancy test and agree to reliable birth control during the radiation course
