Who can take part
- You had breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy) followed by radiation therapy more than 1 year ago
- You now have a second cancer in the same breast that is confirmed by biopsy
- Your cancer is grade 1–2, hormone-receptor positive (ER-positive), and 2 cm or smaller
- You are 40 years old or older
- You have not had breast implants or reconstruction in that breast
- You can receive radiation treatment at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Lebanon, St. Johnsbury, or Cheshire Medical Center
