Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must have had radiation before in the same area that needs treatment again.
  • Your cancer must be one of these types: a small number of tumors that have spread (oligo-metastases), only a few spots growing (oligo-progression), a new cancer that hasn't spread, or the original cancer coming back in the same spot.
  • The re-irradiation must be intended to cure you (not just relieve symptoms), and you must have a life expectancy of more than 6 months.
  • You cannot have re-irradiation planned for the brain, prostate, rectum, or esophagus.
  • You must be able to pause certain cancer medications (like tyrosine kinase inhibitors) during treatment, if needed.
