Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older
  • Have signed consent to join the study
  • Have psoriasis for at least 5 years and at least one skin patch larger than 2 cm
  • For the skin-only group: have no joint symptoms and normal ultrasound of joints and entheses (tendon/ligament attachment areas)
  • For the joint group: meet criteria for psoriatic arthritis and have at least one area of active joint inflammation on exam
  • Do not take DMARDs or blood thinners, and do not have a bleeding/clotting disorder
