Who can take part
- You are post-pubertal and under 30 years old
- You have a planned treatment soon that could harm fertility, such as removing ovaries, pelvic/abdominal radiation, or total body irradiation
- Your planned chemotherapy includes an “alkylating” type, such as cyclophosphamide (at a high total dose), procarbazine, or busulfan (at a high total dose)
- You can give consent/assent and participate safely (no major cognitive or psychiatric barriers)
- You are not pregnant, and you have both ovaries (not just one)
