Who can take part
- You must be newly diagnosed or have cancer that has come back.
- Your treatment plan must include at least one of: whole abdomen or pelvic radiation, total body radiation, high-dose cyclophosphamide (≥7.5 g/m²), procarbazine, or a bone marrow transplant with alkylating drugs.
- Alternatively, you may have a health condition that requires removal of one or both ovaries.
- You must be healthy enough to have laparoscopic surgery and general anesthesia (checked by an anesthesiologist).
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You cannot already be planning to freeze eggs (oocyte preservation).
