This study tests which method of removing an in-place urinary (bladder) catheter is more satisfying and comfortable for patients after certain urologic procedures. If you qualify, you may be randomly assigned to one of two removal approaches and asked about your experience.

Who can take part
- You are a man age 18 or older
- You currently have a urinary catheter in place after certain urology procedures (like prostate or bladder surgery)
- You can read and understand the study and agree to follow after-surgery instructions
- You can do your own intimate hygiene while standing on your own
- You can have the catheter removed at the hospital (not at your home)
- You can do the visit with consent and are not under legal guardianship or custody
