Who can take part

  • Be an adult (age 18 or older) and sign informed consent
  • Have CKD based on kidney blood test results (eGFR in the allowed range) and/or high urine protein levels
  • Be on stable blood-pressure kidney-protecting medicine (ACE inhibitor or ARB) at a steady dose for at least 4 weeks
  • If you have type 2 diabetes, your diabetes medicines must be stable for over 30 days before screening
  • If you can become pregnant, use approved birth control methods during the study and for 30 days after; or be postmenopausal/surgically sterile
  • Understand and read Danish (study team language requirement)
