Choline fenofibrate to reduce plaque in type 2 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You’re age 20 or older and have type 2 diabetes
  • Your A1c blood sugar number is between 6.0% and 10.0% at screening
  • Your cholesterol pattern fits: triglycerides 200–499 mg/dL and low HDL (male ≤45 or female ≤50)
  • You have carotid plaque shown on a scan, with thickness of at least 1.0 mm
  • Your kidney function test (creatinine) is 1.8 mg/dL or lower
