Study different treatments after ischemic stroke

Ischemic Stroke

Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial looks at which treatment approach after an ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel) may lead to better outcomes. It may help doctors better choose treatments that improve recovery and prognosis.

Study of blood markers after stroke artery treatment

This study looks at how certain proteins in the blood change after a procedure to remove a large blockage in a brain artery. The goal is to better understand recovery after stroke treatment.

Study of new stroke patients and what happens next

This study follows people after a first acute ischemic stroke (a blockage-related stroke) to learn what to expect in the days and months after. Your participation could help doctors better understand recovery and outcomes and improve future care.

Stroke patient registry study

This study is a registry that collects information from people who have had an ischemic stroke (a type of stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain). By tracking this information, researchers hope to better understand the condition and improve care for future patients.

Ischemic conditioning after stroke clot removal

This trial tests a method called direct ischemic conditioning, which is a gentle way to prepare your brain to better handle the return of blood flow after a stroke. It is for people who have had a large artery blockage in the front part of the brain and have already had a successful procedure to reopen the artery.

Study blood and MRI changes after clot-stroke treatment

This study looks at inflammation signals in the body and in brain MRI scans after treatment to reopen a blocked brain artery. It may help researchers understand who benefits most from different “reperfusion” treatments like clot-busting medicine or procedures.

NCT05024292Recruiting
Alliance study for acute stroke after clot removal

This trial tests a stroke treatment plan for adults after they have a clot removed by a catheter procedure (endovascular treatment). It focuses on people with certain artery blockages and specific scan results, aiming to improve recovery after successful clot removal.
