Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 16 years old.
  • You have a deep overbite and your lower front teeth look over-erupted, with a deep curve in the lower bite (over 5 mm).
  • You have all your permanent teeth already (except wisdom teeth/third molars).
  • You have never had orthodontic (braces/aligners) treatment before.
  • You do not have gum (periodontal) disease signs now or in the past on exam or X-rays.
  • You likely have not needed surgery to correct a jaw bone problem and you have not had previous tooth trauma or root canal treatment.
