Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 30 years old.
  • You need one of your upper first premolars removed to make space, and your canine tooth needs to be moved into that space.
  • Your jaw alignment is normal (not a very steep or flat lower jaw).
  • Your gums and jawbone are healthy, with no existing root damage.
  • You are not taking any long-term medications like strong pain relievers, bone drugs, or seizure medicines that could affect tooth movement.
  • You can commit to attending all scheduled appointments.
