Who can take part
- You’re age 18 or older and have a confirmed diagnosis of CLL or SLL
- You have not had any CLL/SLL treatment yet (no chemotherapy or radiation)
- Your estimated life expectancy is more than 24 months
- No recent fever (over 38°C) in the past week, and no active infection or infection needing strong meds in the last 14 days
- Your white blood cell counts are not too low (absolute lymphocyte count at least 500 cells/mm³)
- You haven’t had a pneumococcal vaccine in the last 12 months and you haven’t had certain immune treatments recently
