Who can take part
- You must be a woman aged 18 to 75 and willing to sign consent and follow all study visits.
- You have HER2-negative breast cancer that is locally advanced or metastatic, and you’ve had prior chemo with no more than 3 prior chemo lines for advanced/metastatic disease.
- If you had platinum chemotherapy before, your best response had to be complete response (CR), partial response (PR), or stable disease that lasted at least 12 weeks; if platinum was before surgery/after diagnosis, relapse had to be at least 6 months later.
- Your tumor has a measurable target spot on scan (not only previously treated/irradiated areas unless it significantly grew).
- Your blood tests and organ function must meet limits (bone marrow, liver, kidney, clotting), and you must be in good enough general condition (ECOG score 0–1).
- Your blood test must confirm a harmful BRCA mutation (germline BRCA mutation) via a central lab; pregnancy test must be negative if you could become pregnant, and you must use effective contraception during the study and for 6 months after the last dose.
