- You have a confirmed brain AVM (an abnormal blood vessel connection).
- Your AVM has not bled before (and CT imaging confirms no prior bleeding).
- You have had CT scan(s) done with no AVM treatment yet.
- Your AVM is not a simple AV fistula and not a combination with dural AV fistulas.
- Your AVM is not in the spinal cord, and you are not pregnant.
