Medical-only care study for unruptured brain AVMs

Brain Arteriovenous Malformations

Part of Brain & nervous system clinical trials.

This study looks at outcomes for people with an unruptured brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) using medical care only, without procedures. It may help doctors understand which medical approach and monitoring works best for different AVM locations seen on CT scans.

Testing FCN-159 for Brain AVM

This trial tests an oral medication called FCN-159 for people with a high-grade brain AVM that has never bled. The goal is to see if it can shrink the AVM or prevent future problems.

Registry to study care for brain blood vessel malformations

This study collects medical and imaging information from people with a brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) to understand how different treatments are used in real life. It may help doctors improve future care, even if you are not receiving a new drug in this study.

Emergency surgery for bleeding brain blood vessel malformation

This study tests emergency surgery for patients with bleeding from a brain blood vessel malformation (AVM). It aims to see if urgent surgery can help people with this type of stroke.

Study of treatment choices for untreated brain cavernous malformations

This study looks at how to best treat people with untreated cerebral cavernous malformations (a cluster of abnormal blood vessels in the brain). It compares outcomes between those who have surgery and those who are monitored with regular check-ups, and will follow participants for a long time to see how they do.

Study of brain blood vessel malformations and outcomes

This study looks at how brain arteriovenous malformations (abnormal connections between arteries and veins in the brain) behave over time, and how different treatment choices affect outcomes. It may help researchers better predict prognosis and guide future care.

Brain AVM and aneurysm study

This study looks at people who have both a brain arteriovenous malformation (tangled abnormal blood vessels) and an aneurysm in the same area. The goal is to better understand how these conditions act together and what happens over time. You will not receive any new treatment, but your medical information and follow-up will help doctors learn more.
