  • You are a premature newborn who weighed less than 1250 grams at birth
  • The baby did not need a breathing tube (intubation) right after delivery
  • The baby was born at (or is being treated from) this hospital, not transferred from another hospital
  • The baby does not have a major birth defect or a genetic syndrome
