Who can take part

  • You’re 18 or older and can read and understand consent forms
  • Your hair loss diagnosis is confirmed as either androgenetic alopecia or scarring alopecia (with evidence from a biopsy)
  • Your hair loss has stayed about the same for at least 3 months because your current hair treatment plan is stable
  • You don’t smoke or vape (within the last 12 months) and you’re generally healthy for the study
  • You agree not to change your scalp or hair treatments during the study and to avoid other procedures on the treated areas during follow-up
  • You have not had certain recent treatments or scalp procedures (including steroid injections in the last 12 months or scalp surgery in the last 12 months)
