Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 16 and 35 years old and your bones have finished growing.
  • You play a sport that involves pivoting (like soccer, basketball, or tennis) at least twice a week.
  • Your ACL is fully torn, confirmed by MRI and a physical exam.
  • This is your first ACL surgery on the injured knee.
  • You have surgery within 6 months of your injury.
  • You are willing to commit to a 2-year follow-up after surgery.
