Who can take part

  • Be between 9 and 16 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with AIS (a spinal side-to-side curve)
  • Have a Cobb angle between 10° and under 45° (a measurement of the curve)
  • Have a parent/guardian and the patient sign the consent forms to join
  • Not have certain other health problems that could affect the spine or nerves
