- You’re 18 years old or older and have moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis
- You have a doctor’s recommendation to start vedolizumab
- You have never taken vedolizumab before
- You have not used biologic medicines before, or you stopped them more than 12 weeks ago
- You have not taken antibiotics or probiotics in the last 4 weeks
- You can fully take part in the study on your own and agree to sign consent
