Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have had ulcerative colitis for more than 3 months, and it is currently active (causing symptoms like rectal bleeding).
- You have not previously used vedolizumab or etrolizumab for your condition.
- You have not tried more than one advanced therapy (biologic or small molecule drug) for your UC, and you are not currently using other advanced therapies.
- You have not had surgery to remove your colon, and you do not have severe complications like a perforated colon.
- You must be up to date with colon cancer screening if you have had UC for 8 years or more.
