Who can take part
- You are 18 to 80 years old
- You have had ulcerative colitis for more than 3 months
- Your colitis is moderate to severe with active bleeding and inflammation seen on colonoscopy
- You are currently on a stable dose of your UC medicines (like steroids, mesalamine, or immune suppressants) for at least 2–4 weeks
- You have not taken vedolizumab or etrolizumab before
- You have not tried more than one advanced therapy (biologic or pill) for your UC
