Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- You have had ulcerative colitis (UC) for at least 3 months and currently have moderate symptoms (Mayo score 6–10).
- You are planning to start or restart vedolizumab, and you haven't used it in the past year.
- You have already tried at least one standard UC treatment (like mesalamine or azathioprine) and it didn't work well enough or you couldn't tolerate it.
- You can avoid taking antibiotics, probiotics, or steroid therapy for at least 2 weeks before the study starts.
