Who can take part

  • Your baby was born between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy
  • Your baby’s breathing and other vital signs are stable
  • Your baby’s first and 5-minute APGAR scores were 6 to 10
  • Your baby received breathing support like a ventilator or CPAP after birth, and at least 48 hours have passed since stabilization
  • There is no birth problem that would make feeding by mouth impossible
  • You and your baby’s mother/guardian are willing to take part in the study, including breastfeeding if that’s part of the plan
