- Your cancer is adenocarcinoma at the esophagogastric junction and is HER2 negative (a lab test result).
- Your scan shows stage T3+ or N+ but no spread to distant organs (M0).
- You have not had any anti-cancer treatment yet, including surgery, chemo, radiation, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy.
- Your body is strong enough for treatment (ECOG performance status 0 to 1).
- Blood tests and organ function meet safety cutoffs (including enough blood cells and acceptable kidney, liver, and clotting results).
- You can get a pregnancy test if needed and agree to contraception; you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
